Photos of Properties Sued in ADA Lawsuits

Below are photos of actual businesses sued under ADA accessibility claims.  Many have speculated that some of the smallest businesses are targeted because they can least afford to fight a civil rights lawsuit, and therefore quickly settle.

Of course, larger properties have been sued as well, but when the smallest businesses in a community are targeted in such large numbers, one wonders whether the suits are really filed for access, or just their inability to afford litigation.  For example, the same individual sued every one of the businesses pictured on this page (altogether 100 firms in a 14 month period), and claimed he was personally injured in each (i.e., separate and distinct from any emotional injuries he felt he experienced).  He also sued an internationally recognized luxury hotel.
